Opps...

Well, as always it's busy, busy, busy here at TMWS towers and the poor news blog has been neglected (again). Thankfully it's because we've in full-on work mode with lots of projects and winning new clients! So big smiles all round.

We've revamped the website a little, it was felt we needed to show the extent and variety of the work we do – so we achieved with a more visual home page! Take a look www.toomuchwhitespace.co.uk Any feedback appreciated!

Looking ahead we are in discussions [fingers are well and truly crossed] that we will be moving to a more central location, but, that's all we can say for now. Watch this space!

we hereby promise to update this page more often! Thanks to Chun (our email guru) for telling us to pull our fingers out and add more content!

Till 2016 ;)

Rich.

Time flies...

WOW! Where did 2012 go?

Happy New Year to you all!

Last year was certainly a busy one, new clients, old clients, lots of work, and amongst all this chaos TMWS moved, and is now set up and comfy in its new studio in N21.

But 2013 certainly saw it's negatives, the market being the big player in this and we were sad to see some of out clients suffer in the downturn. Wishing them all well for the future.

But on the plus side for TMWS, we did gain some new clients and looking forward to working with them.

I'm also pleased to say that friends and family of TMWS seem to be sprouting babies left, right and centre and at this rate we will have a brand new army of designers within 10 years.

Finally, Just in the process of updating the website with recent work and you can still follow us on Twitter and Facebook!

Exciting times ahead.

Hears to a bright and hopefully productive 2013!

Rich.

NEW WEBSITE AND FACEBOOK PAGE

Hello all,

Well it's been a busy few months at TMWS, and now things are winding down for Christmas we've finally got round to tweaking the website. Though we loved the old site - the feeling was it was big dark, so a bit of jigging and a lighter colour palette and it's looking great. You can see the new look site here www.toomuchwhitespace.co.uk. Let us know what you think!

We've also now got a Facebook page and that can be been here: http://www.facebook.com/TMWS.Creative - Please have a look and 'like', again as always any feedback is welcome!

And finally just to say to all our clients and friends, we hope you have a great Christmas and a fantastic NY 2012.

Take care
TMWS.

It's been a while

Hello People,

It's been almost a year since I last updated this... Lots has happened, Been to Oz, Hong Kong, Wales, Essex.. all very glamourous.
Worked at some great agencies – Spinnaker, Design Bridge, The Box (but to name a few). And finally - blows trumpet - I have a website... which you can see here www.toomuchwhitespace.co.uk

Still a work in progress but very happy so far.

Right must go and pack for Glasto. No real reason to mention this, I'm just being smug.

RIP Grafik!

Sad to see that the company behind Grafik Magazine has gone bust, or rather their investor got cold feet and pulled out!

A cracking magazine though this news hasn't surprised me. Over the last few years I've been amazed at the continual price rise of the magazine. I bought the last one and it was £10! I know it's really not a lot of money – but when you compare that to the vast library of free blogs, design sites and reference you can find on the web, are you truly surprised this has happened?

I do hope it is able to find a way to bounce back and maybe lower its price! Almost subscribed last month too (T.F I didn't)!

Cut n paste from Grafik Facebook page

"Dear all,

Of course we understand everyone's frustration at loosing their subscriptions, and indeed, as people have said above - we have all lost our jobs and livelihoods.

The situation is just as Robert describes, Adventures In Publishing ...was owned by a venture capitalist who had 'deep pockets' - he was effectively bankrolling the company, but got cold feet and decided to pull the plug. The management team did attempt to take the company and debt on, however there was too much debt to handle and these are very difficult times to ask banks for loans.

The hands of those who actually worked for Grafik (i.e. the people who sweated blood and tears for it) were tied and we were unable to communicate any more than we have up until this point as the assets were frozen by the administrator.

The long and the short of it is that HMRC takes what they are owed first, the staff will get some redundancy money and the rest will go to the largest creditor, the previous owner.

This is not to say that Grafik is dead however, we are unable to say any more at present though. Hopefully it will live on in another form and we will always bare those of you who lost subscriptions in mind and try show our gratitude however we can.

We would suggest that anyone who think that we took subscribers money, had a party and 'did a runner' should try working in the publishing industry for a year or so and see how bleak things really are.

Many thanks to all of you who have shown your support over the years, and more importantly through these difficult times.

To those of you who think we're having a ball on the subscribers money, then we'd like you to invite you to dinner at ours... beans on toast ok?

Grafik x
